BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is a mass transit system built in the 70’s to streamline and simplify public transportation in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Unfortunately for consumers and taxpayers (who subsidize the privatized, for profit, system) – BART has a multi-decade+ track record of substantial rate hikes, lawless bare-thread police, crippled service schedules, rampant system-wide crime, decrepit trains, crumbling infrastructure and a monopolist money grubbing board of directors who never have enough money for problems but always find enough money for bonuses.

This is the story of a single, fed-up tax payer, who sees the wolf for what it really is – a monopoly with no one to answer to.
